The California Association of Health Underwriters (CAHU) is a membership organization comprised of more than 2,000 insurance professionals, most independent agents and brokers. CAHU has long been active in promoting responsible and realistic health care reform proposals. In 2007, CAHU developed its Healthy Solutions health care reform plan. This comprehensive proposal has been presented to lawmakers as a workable solution to fixing problems in the current health care system while preserving what is working for millions of Californians.
